Skinny Love

I like this cover of Bon Iver’s song better than the original mostly because I hate saying Bon Iver. Birdy on the other hand is cute and she has a cool voice. Very haunting and sweet at the same time.

Hope you like this hump day tune as much as I do!

    • Thanks Michael! It’s simple tune, easy listenin’.

Lol totally! It’s like, don’t force me to speak French by saying your band’s name. Pshh.

Hi Lily, How beautiful… Reminds me of my niece who plays guitar and sings original songs that she writes. I agree w you that sometimes the best songs are better than original vocals or composition for sure. Thanks for sharing! I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful summer! Emily x

NOT at all!! It is the BEST–speaking of another singer who makes a song so much better! I think her name is Madilyn Bailey and she does ‘Titanium’… one of my FAVES.

It’s a good ‘un – totally thought it was her own song, like she was a cool indie girl sitting in her room writing songs…I feel cheated, but ultimately not that bothered.

    • I thought it was her own song too at first. But then I researched it and realized I had heard the other version before hah. I’m smart. They just sound so different!

  3. Bon Iver is just upset that the name Bon Iver was even too wierd to be part of the Monsters Of Folk tour.
    Yes. It’s that wierd.
On the other hand, Bon Scott (AC/DC) is perfectly acceptable.

    Oh, nice tune too!

    • Lol I didn’t even know there was a Monsters of Folk tour, but that’s awesome and I’m glad Bon Iver didn’t make the list. Hah!

Yeah, Bon is actually a cute name when it’s not paired with Iver.

      Thanks! šŸ™‚

Her name is *Heather Jansen* who sings remake of titanium! I tried to find her on youtube but the other singer kept coming up… so my friend just reminded me ; ) and thanks so much for your nice compliment about my niece!!!
